Nehemiah 8: 8 “They read from the Book of the Law of God, making it clear and giving the meaning so that the people could understand what was being read.”Over the last week I have been in awe of the word of God. It is not humanly possible to understand that power of these words and yet I have seen and felt the Living Word in my life. The bible is not like any other book in the entire world, not like a novel or any movie. It reaches down to the heart and exposes even the most heavily guard parts of our lives.
Truth is sometimes hard to face yet the truth does bring freedom. Jesus said, “You shall know the Truth and the Truth shall set you free.” Jesus is all truth and when He comes into your life the burdens of life must release its hold over you. Be encouraged, God wants you to be free through the Truth, not just to know about it.
Lord, thank you for opening my eyes to Your truth and setting me free. I pray that I will not be entangled again by lies but allow Your truth to keep me free. Amen
