David was a man of many talents. He knew how to work in the fields and he knew the ways of war. David was intelligent, wise, and careful. David often prayed and inquired of the Lord before making any decision. He following instructing to the letter and left nothing undone.
How careful am I in finishing? I finish the audio book, IT and I loved it. But to be truthful it is the first book in a long time that I have finished. I am a great starter, not so good at finishing. David understood the value of finishing. Finishing is more important than starting. Starting says you have good intentions. Finishing says you have accomplished something. No one takes business advice from those who never ran a business. We have all heard the saying, “there all talk”.
Action is necessary for change to take place. It is great to discuss things, but only when things are put into act can new life begin. David had the end in mind when he went on a raid. We to need to have the end result as our fuel.
I am more excited about life and ministry than ever before. I have the end in mind and it is beautiful. The work is hard when it’s the focus, but the beauty of living life with Jesus and giving it away... there is nothing more freeing.
What end result are you working toward?
